The Couple:

I had the pleasure of meeting Christy and Miguel at another wedding I was photographing. I was able to do their engagement photos to get to know them better. They have been super busy the past year. They were engaged, then Christy found out that she was expecting, not one, but two babies!  They were blessed with boy/girl twins just before the wedding. Recently, Miguel re-enlisted in the Navy and he is being stationed in Japan!  So the Santiago’s are getting ready to go to Japan in July!  All of this and Christy still managed to plan a wedding! Super Powers!

The Wedding:

The wedding was at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in downtown Annapolis and the reception was at Loews’s hotel right near the wedding venue.  Christy and her bridesmaids got ready at the hotel. The bridesmaids dresses…oh my! Rose Gold and so sophisticated.  The looks on their faces when they saw Christy dressed in her lace fitted dress was nothing compared to the joy on her father’s face ( and you will see the bridesmaids were so excited!) . The love these parents have for Miguel and Christy is overwhelming. You can see how that same love now is passed down from Miguel and Christy to the twins.

The church was GORGEOUS! A cathedral ceiling and wooden pews. Due to photography restrictions, I had to get a little creative, but it worked out :).  When Miguel saw his bride he smiled from ear to ear!

Once the ceremony was finished, we entered the cocktail hour room and then into the reception hall. the colors were rose gold (my absolute favorite). The flowers were soft and made such a classic statement.  The bridal party entered the room and the party started! I have not been to a wedding with so much dancing and emotion for family, love and the future! Congrats Christy and Miguel!
