Shana + Nick

Shana and Nick contacted me about their May 2020 wedding. When I spoke to Shana on the phone we chatted about her wedding day and what she envisioned. We seemed to hit it off right away. Its super important to be on the same page with your wedding photographer! They will, after all be capturing your best day ever!!

Shana put a lot of thought into location and asked if we would meet at Brookside Garden in Wheaton, Maryland. I had never shot there before, but when I pulled it up on google, I was so excited to see what it was about! As we got to know each other and I set up my camera for the shoot, Bob memorized the map. It seemed like it would be much further to walk from garden to garden, but it wasnt. We started in an open field, then went to a fragrance garden, then to the butterfly garden and wedding pavilion. When walking through a winding path, we ran into a praying mantis.

Shana and Nick were so interactive with each other. They laughed, hugged, and really took in these special moments in their lives. Nick, is also one heck of a twirler. Shana had so much fun with this!
