The Couple
Cecile is an art director and Will is a welder. They met online via a dating app (Plenty of Fish). They met at a bar after a few months of conversation. Will worked there as a bouncer. They then had their first official date on the Odyssey Dinner Cruise Ship in Washington, D.C. during the Cherry Blossom Festival.
According to Cecile, Will proposed at her childhood home in front of their Christmas tree while they were decorating it with her parents. His original plan was to propose at the tree farm earlier that day, but things didn’t go according to plan. He was acting so strangely that she accidentally figured it out!
The Session
We decided on Historic Jerusalem Mill because they have a love for history. Since it is summer time, we weren’t sure until the session started if it was going to thunderstorm or not. I was so excited about this session because Will and Cecile requested some pictures in the creek! I always love trying different areas and places. Cecile and I both love the color purple and Pepsi. Bob and Will had plenty to talk about with history and old cars. It was like we had been friends for a long time! We are excited to capture their wedding day!
