Jenn & PJ Micro Wedding

The Couple

Jenn and PJ met as volunteers at a rescue squad in Montgomery County, Maryland.  PJ said during his vows that He knew Jenn was “the one” when he first saw her (a few months before they went out on their first date). She called him and asked if he wanted to go Christmas shopping and he jumped at the chance. Jenn moved away and came back to the Maryland area. Fast forward and they have one fur-baby together. They love to laugh as much as they love each other!

The Wedding

Jenn and PJ’s wedding looked very different than what we discussed at our first meeting. Our first meeting was “pre-COVID”. It’s hard to even remember what that was like. They were suppose to get married at the Anchor Inn September 20, 2020, but made the decision to have the big ceremony, dress and celebration next year in August. Jenn contacted me and asked that instead of an engagement session if we could capture their intimate wedding at North Point State Park. I was so thankful I was available for this! I can’t imaging being a bride during this pandemic, but Jenn is also a tech in the emergency department as well as a paramedic.  So, instead of an engagement session, we had a wedding with about 15 of Jenn and PJ’s family and closest friends. The flowers were arranged by PJ’s mom and the weather was amazing. The day was as perfect as it could be for change of plans.

We are so incredibly excited for Mrs. and Mr. Mummey and can’t wait to capture their big celebration next year!

Cheers to you! Happy Wedding Day!

xoxo,

Jamie and Bob
