The Couple
It was a great day at Chick Fil-A when these two met! Gabby asked Samuel out. Their first date was at Big Six Hero. Sam proposed on the “wishing rock” at Down’s Park in Pasadena, Maryland after a long walk with their pup. Since then, they have added a second furbaby (Milo) to their family so Piper is now the “big sister”.
The Wedding
Samuel and Gabrielle’s engagement and engagement session were at Down’s Park and their wedding was there as well. This park will always have a special place in their hearts. They were supposed to get married in the spring, but COVID happened. With Gabrielle being a teacher and the world on lock-down, their wedding was rescheduled for fall. They meticulously planned this wedding to ensure social distancing and being aware of what is still happening in the world. They moved their reception to an outdoor pavilion at the park with a lot of space to spread out. Since they LOVE Christmas, they decided to put up a tree and decorate the pavilion with a Christmas theme. They changed the cake to smores and Christmas sweaters. I asked Gabrielle if it was what she envisioned. She said while it wasn’t what they planned, it is everything they wanted and that makes my heart so happy!
They will be taking their honeymoon over thanksgiving at a cabin in Deep Creek.
