The Couple
Jackson and Kourtni are the Tinder generation! They quickly formed a great relationship because of the likeness of their family dynamics. They got engaged on the beach in Ocean City, MD, and both of their families go multiple times a year. It is even the place that inspired the theme for the weekend! The closeness of their families is truly what “ties the knot” to their beautiful story.
The Wedding
Tropical Storm Elsa was looming the day of Kourtni and Jackson’s wedding. As we captured the bridal and bridesmaid portraits, the sky got super dark and we thought that it was going to pour. the storm was just to the south of us! So even though the sky was dark, it did not rain! Kourtni’s dad, Mike had not seen her dress. What a sweet moment when he finally saw her. Kourtni honored Jackson’s dad (who passed away when Jackson was 17) by having a tie made with a picture of he and his dad on it. Maddie, Jackson’s sister is who delivered the tie and a note from the bride. This was a PARTY crowd! After waiting an entire extra year, thanks to Covid, this bunch was extremely excited to see these two get married! The day turned out beautifully and we were so excited to capture it!
