The Couple

Catherine and Luke started dating in middle school! They are now both in college. Catherine is finishing up a nursing degree and Luke in law school. As if that isn’t sweet enough, the engagement story is even sweeter. Catherine went to Paris on a trip with a friend. Luke flew to Paris, surprised Catherine, and proposed in a park with the Eiffel Tower in the background. He stayed the remainder of the trip for them to celebrate.

The Reception

Catherine and Luke opted to get married in Mexico with a destination wedding, followed by a reception with about 100 friends and family at a private residence/rustic barn. To give you a visual of how rustic this was, we got stuck behind a tractor moving hay bails to another location while we were driving to the reception. Bob has known Catherine’s step-father for 35+ years. They grew up (and got into trouble) together. The reception had a sweet vibe. There was coral colors from their Mexico wedding, mojitos, and margaritas for signature drinks. We captured some family formals, bridal party, bride and groom and a lot of friends/family and dancing! This dance floor was packed all night! The DJ, Bill from Wizer Productions did an amazing job. The food was served by  Canapes Catering. They served hamburgers, hotdogs, and sweet potato fries along with some delicious cupcakes.
