The Couple
Joe & Jess began dating in August 2014. She was fresh out of a divorce and wasn’t looking for anything serious. especially now that she was a single mom to 3 children. While knowing she couldn’t give too much of herself, she truly enjoyed Joe’s company and how easy things were between them. It wasn’t long before she was head over heels. However, Joe has no children, never been married, and may have been more skeptical of a “relationship†than she was. Fast forward a year later and he finally said “I love you†just before he headed off to a weekend fishing trip with the guys. She recalls feeling as though her heart was so full because even though she knew how he felt…actually hearing it was just amazing. Fast forward almost 4 years, they bought property, built a house and then 3 more years he popped the question. He is an amazing dad and treats all of them so well!
The Session
After so many years together Joe makes Jess laugh and smile almost constantly. Their love for each other is truly amazing to capture. Neither of them take themselves too seriously and they are content in each other’s company. The weather was pretty perfect for this session in Downtown Annapolis. Sunny, no wind, no humidity etc. I am so glad fall is here! I met Jess at her friends, Shari and John’s wedding. She recalled our photography and we were so excited she wanted us to capture her “happily ever after” as well! By the looks of Jess’ hair, engagement ring and the colors she has chosen for their wedding, I would say blue is her favorite color :). Can’t wait to see you on the big day at Pond View Farm!
