Hannah & Nick Engaged

The Couple

I was going to write about how Hannah and Nick met, but Hannah tells the story so well, I am going to share the story from her perspective:

Nick and I have been dating for two years! I had just moved to Salisbury for school and was rooming with a friend from back home (Calvert county) who was also a friend of Nick’s.
She mentioned him a few times and before I knew it he was messaging me on Instagram…😂 we eventually exchanged numbers and met in person a week or two later. We did long distance for about 5 months while I was at school and then I came home and finished my undergrad online because of COVID. After a year and a half of dating we decided to get an apartment together and then six months after that he proposed!
It’s kinda funny how things turned out…
Before I moved to Salisbury I was in an unhealthy relationship and was not interested in pursuing anything with anyone for a long time. A few weeks later I was introduced to Nick and he ended up being exactly what I needed! He was very patient with me and showed me what a healthy, loving relationship looks like. This was the easiest yes and I cannot wait to marry him! (:

The Session

I met Nick and Hannah at Kinder Farm Park. It’s definitely one of my favorites because of the vast area and various sceneries. My daughter Madelyn is very interested in photography and wanted to tag along to learn. She is 9 and is doing so well with understanding cameras and settings/locations. I knew this would be a great session for her because Nick and Hannah are so sweet. Madelyn just loved watching the session and carrying stuff. Photographing these two is effortless. Nick makes Hannah laugh and light up so easily and they are just so comfortable in each others arms. With the fall scenery this was a dream to capture. I can’t wait to hear more about their wedding plans and watch their love grow!

Congrats Nick and Hannah!

xoxo,

Jamie & Madelyn 🙂
