The Couple
Sammie and Walter met at work. They have been dating for three years when Walter popped the question. When they went on vacation to Miami over the summer, Walter proposed over dinner! Miami is so fun! To see their engagement session click HERE
The Wedding
The weather took a turn from earlier in the week and there was a cold front complete with a lot of gusty wind! The flowers and accents were orange and other fall colors perfect for the Mid- November wedding. The bridal party handled the weather and cold very well, however! The day started with Sammie getting into her gorgeous gown and having an emotional “first look” with her dad. She opted to see Walter for the first time as she came down the aisle. Walter kept his back turned until the officiant told him she was close enough to turn around. The smile on his face says it all! They said their vows with family and friends onlooking and the wind blowing. They sealed it with a kiss and the crowd erupted in cheers! The DJ got the party started by interacting with the crowd (he was amazing!) and everyone stood on their feet when Samantha and Walter were introduced! Samantha came in with a custom jean jacket sporting her new last name! They danced their first dance, heard some amazing speeches and shared some cake (and maybe some whipped cream).
