Makayla & Zach Married

The Couple

As told by the couple:
“We technically met in 2nd grade but went to different schools and met back up after I transferred to the same high school. We became really good friends throughout high school but ended up going to different colleges. We kept in touch and started dating in 2016 after freshman year of college and have been together since then!”
Proposal:
“In December before Christmas, we were going on a date to Ocean City. We were going to see the Christmas lights that night, but we made a day trip of it, stopping in Berlin that morning to grab coffee and walk around. Then when we got to Ocean City we decided to take a walk on the beach where he proposed! Both of our families showed up and we all went back to his family’s beach house where we all had dinner.”

The Wedding

The day called for rain, but we lucked out and didn’t get a single drop. Makayla was light-hearted, not stressed at all and ready to marry the love of her life!  When I saw Zach at the first look he was in the same mindset.  They were both ready for this moment and everyone could feel it.  Having known each other since the 2nd grade they know each other’s mannerisms and cues pretty well. The ceremony was in the wooded part with speckles of light shining through. They said their vows before God and their families. They were now MARRIED… and ready to party!  We were excited to show them a sneak peek into their wedding day via a same day slide show (always a hit!).  We then captured a spectacular sunset and they danced the night away ending their reception with a sparker exit!
