The Session

We suggested doing an engagement session in December. I know that sounds crazy and it was definitely a gamble, but our original date was rained out. Brian and Rebecca lucked out big time with the weather! It was 62 degrees, it was not windy and they were able to bring their dog Zeus to the session. These 2 lovebirds met at work (they work for a local fire department) and you can tell how much fun they have with each other. Rebecca’s ring is gorgeous and shines nicely in these portraits.  Zeus is also one loyal, well-behaved, happy pup!

The Location

We have had a couple shoots here before, but this time the museum was open.  The sky was gorgeous at sunset over the city and the buildings gave us a lot of texture and beauty for amazing backgrounds. The American Visionary Art Museum is full of glass walls and mosaic art. We had so many options to change up the look. Check out some of their session below 🙂

We will be shooting Rebecca and Brian’s wedding next October and we can’t wait!
