The Couple & Session

Liz and Mark met at a work function. Several years went by before their paths crossed again. This time they became very good friends. After a few more years of being friends, they started dating in 2018. They describe it as instant chemistry and knew they were going to spend the rest of their lives together. When they were on vacation in Silver Lake, MI, Mark took Liz and her family to the top of Little Sable Lighthouse on a gorgeous day. Mark got down on one knee and asked Liz to marry him while overlooking a fantastic view of Lake Michigan. The diamond in the ring was Liz’s grandmother’s, then her mother’s, and now hers. The setting was designed around that diamond.

Bob and I were driving around scoping out some areas when I saw Liz’s jeep. I know it’s her because she drive a bikini blue pearl Jeep Wrangler, just like I do! I saw some waterfront area, along with some beautiful bean vines. We went into Hemingway’s restaurant, where they were grabbing a drink before the session and explained our crazy plan for different areas for pics.  So we took a tour of Kent Island before finishing up at sunset at Terrapin Park. It was super overcast so there wasn’t too much color, but I am just happy it didn’t rain.
Congrats Liz and Mark!!
xoxo,
Jamie and Bob
