The Couple

Elise and Zack met in college during junior year. They went out on Valentines Day, 2015. Zack proposed on July 2nd this year in Massachusetts on Fourth of July weekend at a lake where family is from. They do a lot of celebrating and firsts on holidays.  Elise went to Hopkins for her Masters and is now a data analyst. Zack is a Bio-Mechanical Engineer and they reside in Baltimore now with the sweetest, most loving dog, Raven. A very fitting name for Baltimore City pup.

The Wedding

The weather for Zack and Elise’s wedding was perfect. The leaves had changed colors and were still on the tree.  There was no humidity, intermittent sun and no rain!  When we arrived, Zack had just finished a round of golf before getting into his suit. His groomsmen wore socks with his face on them (so funny!). Their suits were navy (my favorite to photograph) and the bridesmaids wore gorgeous green dresses, which complemented the fall leaves so nicely! Zack “went to Jared” and got Elise a beautiful necklace as a gift. She opened it just before their first look. When they saw each other for the first time their faces lit up. So much joy… even a few happy tears!  We had 90 minutes to drive around the golf course to various spots. Zack is a huge golfer and asked for some creative photos of them on the green. One of the golfers made a comment about how he won’t be able to golf as much after they get married. Elise quickly corrected that and told them they were going to play 3 rounds on their honeymoon!  They got married under a tent as the sun set over the golf course. They exchanged personal vows to each other that made everyone laugh and cry.

One of the things Elise and Zack mentioned during our consult was how they wanted to party and have fun! With this in mind we made sure to allow for them to get to half of their cocktail hour to enjoy time with family and friends.  The bridal party had great entranced into the reception!  They ate, they drank and they were MARRIED!
