John & Shari Married | White Marsh Maryland

The Couple: This love story is about second chances, life is what happens when you are busy making other plans and learning to dance in the rain (literally).  Shari has an almost teenage daughter Sadie. John and Shari met and through time fell in love. Shari said she never thought she would marry again until she met John.  Judging only by how I saw them look at each other, interact and how easy it was to capture their glowing affection for each other, I would have to say that she

Chloe’s Senior Portraits | Visionary Art Museum

Chloe is a bit shy 🙂 Once she warms up though she has a magnificent smile and gorgeous hair (she should! Her mom owns an amazing salon!) She is getting excited to graduate. With a passion for art/photography and a plan to go to community college to expand on that, her time as a high schooler is coming to an end.  We met at the visionary art museum. So fitting for her personality.  The whole family came to the sesh. Mom, Dad and kid sister Sophia! We laughed, climbed a

Hall Maternity | Ft. Smallwood Park

Tony and Monica already have one adorable little guy in their life, but decided for a table for four instead of three. They are overjoyed that Sebastian is going to be a big brother to a.. baby boy! Sebastian was super shy of my camera and lights, but we were able to sneak some shots in anyway 🙂 . Monica’s must haves for this session were landscape views and no black/white images!

Christy + Miguel Married | Annapolis Maryland

The Couple: I had the pleasure of meeting Christy and Miguel at another wedding I was photographing. I was able to do their engagement photos to get to know them better. They have been super busy the past year. They were engaged, then Christy found out that she was expecting, not one, but two babies!  They were blessed with boy/girl twins just before the wedding. Recently, Miguel re-enlisted in the Navy and he is being stationed in Japan!  So the Santiago’s are getting ready to go to Japan in July!

Collins Mini | Ft. Smallwood Park

I met the Collins when little Olivia was in her mom, Ashley’s belly! I had the privilege of taking a few pregnancy pics for them. This is one of my favorite parts of my job- watching family and kiddos grow! She has the sweetest little personality and her parents are so sweet to watch with her. She is into peek-a-boo and playing with her ball. Check out some shots of this cutie and her momma and dada.

Rainy Day | Kinder Farm Park | Ross Twinsies

Lindsey won a free mini session with me by participating in a contest!  She is an amazing client and I have had the privilege of watching her very smart, beautiful twins grow up through my lens.  It is always a joy to watch them interact together.  Lindsey messaged me and asked if we could do something a little different for this session. She asked if we could keep an eye on the weather and take some puddle pics.  I said OF COURSE! My camera is weather sealed! Lets do this!

Shutter Chaos

How did I get HERE!

I get asked all of the time “how did you end up a wedding and portrait photographer?” Well….my kids! In 2012 I was pregnant with my twins, Madelyn and Grayson. Just like every soon to be parent, I couldn’t wait to see what they looked like, how their personalities will be etc. I knew I wanted pictures of them. LOTS of pictures. So I bought a Nikon D5200 DSLR (back then I thought it was the biggest/baddest camera you could get HAHA) and we waited for their birth to arrive.

Stewart Maternity | Historic Savage Mill

I have never had the opportunity to photograph a session at Savage Mills before, but my goodness is it an amazing place! I met Bobby and Ashley there to capture Ashley’s pregnancy. Her FIRST pregnancy!  Ashley and Bobby have been married for about 3 years now.  They are both passionate about public safety. Ashley teaches EMT at local community colleges and Bobby is a firefighter in Prince George’s County.    They are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their first child, a daughter, Charlotte. (I love the name Charlotte!). The day
