Beth & Bryan

Wedding

November 17, 2017

The Couple:

First comes love, then comes…. Brody and Macy! It was kind of hard to top that, but Beth & Bryan tied the knot on November 11, 2017 aboard the Carnival Paradise while in Port in Tampa. I have known Beth since the 4th grade ( You read that right!).  We have kept in touch over the years even after her family moved to Florida when she was in high school.  Beth is finishing up her degree in teaching and will be a Math teacher this January. Bryan is a Firefighter/Paramedic. These two are fiercely loyal to each other and their family.

The Wedding:

Well, it certainly didn’t go off without a hitch, but Beth made everything come together the day of to ensure that this was everything she ever imagined and waited her whole life for!  Her groom waited in “holding” with the rest of us and a blindfold over his face so he didn’t see his bride. This is where Beth came in. She ensured that she was able to go up to her cabin on the ship so poor Bryan didn’t have to sit there forever with a shirt on his face, lol!  I was able to accompany Beth onto the ship and we got ready in a short period of time. Macy twirled a lot in her dress and Brody was awesome at hanging out and helping with last minute items! We took the elevator (as Beth said “the elevator to the rest of her life”) down to the Queen Mary Lounge and waited in the adjacent room, the Rex Nightclub where their reception took place.  It was now 1pm and time to get married!  It was short and sweet. The reception was only an hour, but they got a whole lot of fun in during that time! It was really amazing!

The extra guests who weren’t sailing had to disembark and we set sail to Roatan, Hondorus and then to Cozumel, Mexico! The water in Cozumel was GORGEOUS! We got to catch up with old friends that I consider family and was so blessed to be a part of Beth’s day and wedding cruise!
