Krista & Bobby Married!

Not long ago, we were finishing up the engagement session and chatting about the wedding.   Bobby and Krista chose the Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore as their venue. What an amazing venue to get married at! So many textures and backdrops.

The hotel room where Krista was getting ready was really low key. Just her mom, Bobby’s grandmother and a few sisters. Krista is one of five sisters (WOW!).  She chose very eco-friendly options for her wedding day including no wedding invitations. Her dress was elegant and simple and it had pockets!! Her colors were a touch of sage, ivory, blush and a pop of burgundy.

Once ready, Krista hopped in our Jeep and we drove to Federal Hill Park where she would meet Bobby for their first look!  I could tell that both Krista and Bobby were really nervous prior to the first look. They both were ready to see each other and just take in a few moments of the day.  When Krista called Bobby’s name and he turned around, I watched all of the stress and nerves just wash away. They embraced each other and it really felt like the whole world stopped. Usually, after the first look we do a few poses, but they both interacted so well that we didn’t really need to capture any photos at the top of the hill!  Bobby said the first look was such a good idea (we always love first looks). It really helped calm their nerves and allow them to be with each other.

For their wedding ceremony, they chose to have both of their parents walk them down the isle. Stephanie, Bobby’s sister was the Officiant. As her brother came down the aisle, she started to tear up. You could just see how proud she was of him. It was all over her face. Krista and Bobby chose to exchange their own vows and sealed their marriage with a kiss and breaking the glass.

They began dancing the night away with the Hora. Though they didn’t stay up in the chairs but for a few seconds, they had fun!

Now, they are off to Spain for their much anticipated honeymoon!
