The Couple:

“I love you… I know”. Justin and Sarah wore cute “nerdy” (as Sarah calls them) matching shirts that said these words. The dogs were dressed up as well as Chewbacca and R2D2.  I met Sarah through my local salon. She became a nail technician there. She was in retail and working her way up the ladder, but she realized she was unhappy. She bravely decided to pursue dreams. She started doing nail art and just kept getting better and better. Now she has a ton of (happy) clients and just as importantly, Sarah is happy too. Justin works for the Department of Forestry. I have a whole lot of respect for him because sometimes he can get deployed to forest fires. I am a firefighter and forest/brush fires are my least favorite. Sarah and Justin have been together for about 15 years! They met gaming (which I love and think is perfect for this pair!).

Sarah carefully planned this long awaited session. She had matching outfits for everyone including their furbabies Pepper and Pixy. A fellow photographer colleague came with me to help with this session. Sarah decided to start the session dressed up and then get into different outfits that match their styles and personality. At one point, while shooting, I captured Pixy sitting like a person at a picnic table patiently waiting for her parents to come over from having their picture taken!  Sarah and Justin’s love is undeniable in these images. You can see how much they have fun and light each other up! Justin knows exactly how to make Sarah laugh (and blush).  I simply put them together and captured their sparks.

Here’s to many more years of wedded bliss!
