Ashley & Jason Married!

Wedding

October 17, 2020

The Couple

Jason and Ashley met while working for a private ambulance service. She was his dispatcher and he worked out of the Delaware office. They started communicating through Snapchat and text, building their relationship before even having a first date. They planned on several meetings, but mother nature always intervened. There were several snow storms etc. They lived about two hours apart causing a little issue with meet ups. Eventually, they were able to spend the weekend together and fate took care of the rest. Ashley is from the Annapolis area, so when her lease was up, she moved to Delaware and they found a home across from the firehouse where Jason volunteers.   They don’t have any human kids (yet), but the do have fur-kids!

The Wedding

Ashley and I met years ago through the fire department. She contacted me to see if I would be available for her fall wedding. We were both so excited that I was available. Ashley (with Jason’s support) went through a weight loss journey for a year. She is so determined and focused! She ROCKED it! They decided to marry in a small ceremony at a local park and move their reception to next March (COVID). We always encourage a first look. So I set up a spot, and Ashley called out Jason’s name.  We have them call out to the groom so when they turn around they can take it all in! When he turned around, he was overwhelmed by how gorgeous she was in her gown! The raw emotions are my favorite to capture (also why we love first looks!). They married as the sunset under fall foliage near the water. It was picture perfect!

They are now off to a honeymoon in Tennessee (COVID again). Congrats Ashley and Jason! We are so happy for you!!
