The Couple
As Told By Tori:
We met through Facebook and he asked me to meet up for a drink sometime. I happened to be at a bachelorette weekend so we texted and talked all weekend and I instantly knew he was something special! The conversations were flowing and everything felt so natural. We come from two different worlds, me coming from living in a neighborhood and growing up in Bel Air, him from growing up in the rural countryside in Darlington. He is very country oriented and John Deere tractor obsessed, you could say that we are pure opposites, however as they say, opposites attract!! We met in person the following week and he wanted to take me to a tractor pull out in the country to an area I had never even knew existed! It ended up being a bust but still we made the best of it and went back to his house that he was in the process of purchasing and I met Princess (the cat) for the first time! We ended up walking around his neighborhood and ordering food for delivery and got to know each other. Honestly from that moment forward we were inseparable, besides having to go to work haha. Fast Forward almost 3 years later, he takes me to a “tractor pull” (the same place we had our first date) and we get there and there is no one there and he tries to play it off that we came on the wrong day, come to find out there is a blanket and flowers laid down up the hill, a very romantic vibe. He has my favorite Truly seltzers there waiting and as I go to take a sip he hands me a gift bag, so I opened it up and there is one of my favorite books, titled “Life’s Too Short”, he tells me to open it , I read the letter he had hand written and there is a hole carved out in the middle of the pages and a ring. I look up and he is on one knee and we both have tears in our eyes and of course I said Yes!!! One of the happiest days of my life!
The ring is Corey’s late mothers and holds so much meaning and love. You will see he wears a memento of his mother under his boutonniere. A gift given to him by Tori!
The Wedding
Given that it had rained for several days prior to their wedding due to hurricane Ian, we welcomed a perfectly gorgeous fall day! Tori picked various shades of purple for her colors. The guys wore gray suits and they were married outside in a sweet ceremony as the sun set at Rockfield Manor in Bel Air! Tori and Corey opted for a first look (which we highly recommend) so the flow of the day was amazing and we could instantly see the nervousness melt once they saw each other. Their families were very excited to celebrate them and everyone devoured the desserts before I could even get a picture of them! The DJ kept everyone on the dance floor and the vibe of the night was fun! It ended with a send off using ribbons (with bells).
Congrats to Tori and Corey!
xoxo,
