The Couple
As told by the couple:
“We technically met in 2nd grade but went to different schools and met back up after I transferred to the same high school. We became really good friends throughout high school but ended up going to different colleges. We kept in touch and started dating in 2016 after freshman year of college and have been together since then!”
Proposal:
“In December before Christmas, we were going on a date to Ocean City. We were going to see the Christmas lights that night, but we made a day trip of it, stopping in Berlin that morning to grab coffee and walk around. Then when we got to Ocean City we decided to take a walk on the beach where he proposed! Both of our families showed up and we all went back to his family’s beach house where we all had dinner.”
The Session
Our first session with Makayla and Zach was cancelled due to weather. We shot their friend’s wedding earlier this year so it was really great to connect with them again and learn more about their love story. They don’t take each other too seriously and definitely compliment each other 🙂 They chose Terrapin Park because it is close to where they are getting married in the fall. Which is Kent Island Resort. We are so excited to capture this time for them and can’t wait to be there for all of the magic on their wedding day!
