The Couple

Somer and Mark met the way most couples meet today… on a dating app. Their app of choice was Hinge. They have now been together for 3 years and have a dog named Clyde. They live in Virginia where Somer is in grad school for Physical Therapy and Mark is in construction.

On Somer’s birthday, they went to Mark’s grandparents who have a beach house in OC New Jersey.  Somer left school early and they took Clyde for a walk on the boardwalk. While strolling along Mark got down on one knee and proposed.  Afterward , they went to an engagement party with both families.

The Session

I met Somer, Mark, and their dog Clyde in Alexandria, Virginia. It was s busy evening down by the water, but we were able to find some quiet corners of the city to capture moments. They brought along their friend Peyton to help me get Clyde’s attention and keep him company while we captured some images of just Somer and Mark.  Clyde will be a part of their wedding day. We love that! We are all very pro-pup in this business! We can’t wait to capture their wedding next year!
