Allison & Grant Married!

Wedding

January 6, 2024

The Couple

As told by Allison:

We met at a seed corn meeting almost 10 years ago but Grant was too shy to talk to me. 4.5 years ago he messaged me on facebook and the rest is history. He proposed with the most beautiful HUGE sign on Christmas Eve in John Deere green letters on his farm.

The Wedding

Tradition was important to Allison and Grant. Allison got ready at her childhood home on their family farm. Their house was built in the 1800’s and is gorgeous! She hoped for a snow storm, but we got a little snow and a whole lot of rain! They married at St. Stephen’s Church (the same church her parents married in).  Grant had a new, beautiful tractor waiting outside of their ceremony!

The reception was at Water’s Edge Events and was like a winter wonderland. The decor was filled with greenery and Christmas trees from Allison’s family farm. Allison’s dad made a big wreath placed behind their sweetheart table!  The rain did not stop this crowd from partying!

Allison and Grant are escaping the bad weather and are headed to Hawaii for their honeymoon!
