Susan T. Turns 50!

When our friend and owner of GGL Creative, Susan, was turning 50, we knew the party was going to be insane! Her husband, Kevin, along with GGL Creative (as a surprise to Susan) designed and planned the ultimate party experience! We even came back early from Wyoming to be able to celebrate! Kevin reached out to Northern Lights Photography to photograph this event and we knew the perfect person to capture it was our associate Susan Supko! The “Merch Madness” for this March birthday was so creative and the detail was AH-MAZING!  When we walked up to the doors they were decorated inviting us into the purple lit, bold color space with a club- like atmosphere and stage. GGL had a wall set up for guests to choose their “swag” from for the party. We picked the design for our shirts, grabbed hats, glasses, and some snarky sayings! The theme was “SNL” and had hints of “Prince”. The color themes chosen were “Raspberry Beret, Orange Crush, Purple Rain, and Miami Vice. The apps served by “Be My Guest” catering were delicious.  Kevin had led on there would be a surprise at the party. The DJ, Jarrell Entertainment, got everyone on the dance floor. Kevin then did a speech where he took us down memory lane with he and Susan’s 30 year relationship that goes all the way back to skipping tracks in the car and singing to Prince. For Susan’s 50th, Kevin wanted to recreate some of that nostalgia for her so he hired The Purple Xperience. A Prince cover band who nailed every aspect of their performance. The crowd danced, sang, and celebrated Susan all night. When The Purple Xperience show was over, the DJ started playing again and a saxophone player added dimension to the tunes and kept the party going. The celebration was over-the-top, the swag was on point for this celebration and Susan Supko with Northern Lights Photography couldn’t have documented it any better!
