The Couple & Session

Nicole and Dj met through mutual friends several years ago. They had a super intimate engagement on Christmas morning with just the two of them. He works in construction, and she is a medical assistant.

Nicole and DJ are getting married at Pine Ridge Farm (one of our very favorite venues)!  We always like to have an engagement or some sort of session prior to the big day to get to know our couple and what poses work best. This helps us to roll through the images efficiently come the big day! In this couple’s case, it was even more important because (as they said) DJ is a little taller and Nicole is a little shorter, which makes for a lot of height difference, lol! It’s kind of funny how we chose the date of the engagement session. Neither of us realized that it was Easter Sunday :). So, they got engaged on Christmas, and had an Easter engagement session!.  It worked out because it was a BEAUTIFUL day! A nice glow in the evening sun. The first 15 minutes (as I explain to all of our couples) are awkward, but it always ends well:)

We are so excited to capture their wedding at Pine Ridge in May!
